How does UPS Access Point locker work? ›

Next, you'll receive a notification when your package arrives at the designated location. You'll need to provide proof of identity at pick up, so bring a photo ID. Customers picking up from a UPS Access Point® will use the touchscreen kiosk at the locker to retrieve the package.

UPS handles delivery from supplier to elected UPS Access Point. Provide proof of identity to collect your parcel. Notification sent and your parcel awaits to be collected at a time convenient to you. If necessary to return an item, you may drop a labelled pre-paid UPS Return parcel into any UPS Access Point.

The lockers are designed to simplify delivery and pickup. They provide a flexible, convenient delivery option for customers, while centralizing a drop-off point to optimize last-mile delivery.

Cluster Box units often have parcel lockers. The parcel locker is used for items that are too large to fit in an individual box (compartment) within the Cluster Box. A key will be left in the mailbox to be used as a parcel locker key. This key has a tag that indicates the parcel locker that contains the item.

When UPS delivers to a locker, it means that the package has been delivered to a secure locker that is accessible to the recipient with a unique code or key. This is a convenient option for those who may not be available to receive a package in person or who want to avoid the risk of package theft.

You cannot drop off a UPS package at a USPS station. Nor can you ask USPS pickup for a UPS package. You can only use USPS pick-up or stations for products being shipped via US Postal Service. United Parcel Service is NOT the same as US Postal Service.

USPS puts packages in parcel lockers when the package is too large to fit into your mailbox. By using a parcel locker, USPS' delivery personnel can securely deliver your package without leaving it outside or in an unsecured location.

Please collect your parcel within 10 days, at the Access Point within the opening hours. You can search for Access Point opening hours here. Always make sure to bring a valid form of ID with you, as well as your unique tracking number.
